Spacious local village inn with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Located within Dartmoor National Park, the pub has a large open-plan, L-shaped bar with plenty of seating, including alcoves. There is a separate long dining room, which can also be used for functions. It has a selection of local real ales on offer and has frequently featured in the GBG. There is a book exchange scheme in operation. Sam’s Cider is sold. Accommodation available.
The current owners were previously at the Cromwell Arms in Bovey Tracey for 11 years.
A full refurbishment was carried out during lockdown.
