This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.
The Prospect Inn was incorporated into the Holiday Inn a few years ago after being derelict for many years. The original main body of the pub was built in 1937 by the Tomson and Wotton brewery, and was modelled on the bridge and two wings of the Queen Elizabeth, then being built at Clydebank. There is a symbolic mast, two funnels and an observation turret.
The hotel's bar serves three widely available keg beers. There is an electric car charging station at the rear of the building.
