One of a pair of GBG 'bookends' either side of the railway station and a firm favourite with ale-trailers, this outlet is a large, 4-roomed pub with one bar dedicated to cask and one to keg. Up to 14 real ales on sale. This is complemented by four real ciders/perries and an extensive British and world bottle range. Pieminister pies, mash and peas are served. Ramp to side door to provide step free access, accessible toilet. Huddersfield CAMRA Mild Pub of the Year 2024.
