On entering this magnificent Yorkshire-stone Tudor manor house through the substantial, studded, oak door you find stone floors, arches, mullioned windows, two huge fire places and a splendid wood-panelled bar with five hand pumps. Outside there is a small patio area to the rear and a large, lawned area to the front which is extremely popular in summer. Outdoor wooden pods to hire for occasions. Good home-cooked food is served and the pub can get very busy at weekends.
