Imposing country house dating from the 18th Century, set in its own grounds at the end of a long drive alongside the River Skell, it opened as a luxury hotel in July 2019. The bar is open to non-residents, but currently no real ale.

Historic Interest

Grade II* listed building dating from the 18th Century, it was used as a convalescent home during the Second World War. After the war it was an adult education residential college, and later a training and conference centre.
