Historic Interest
A former NatWest bank in a curving mid-20th century building circa 1960, built as part of the post-war improvements to the Radford area. Note how the building follows the line of St. Helen's Street as part of the modern gyratory system around Canning Circus which replaced the earlier and much prettier traffic roundabout in the centre of the circus. Located in Nottingham City Council's Gamble Street & Alfreton Road Conservation Area. [Nottingham City Council; Radford & Park Ward / Nottingham South Parliamentary Constituency]
