Locals bar that opened in the late 1950's. Name has been changed back to Flying Boat. It's located on a busy street on the way to Seaburn sea front.

As of September 2025 there are usually two changing cask ales

Monday is Cask Club discount day with beers £2.50 a pint ( March 2024). Ask about a loyalty card which is buy 5 pints, get one free. Also 10% discount for CAMRA Members. (not Mondays)

Meals are served daily.
