The pub interior has small cosy rooms with stained glass partitions which surround a bar area. Note the small and intimate Nooki room which was formerly the pub living room but has since been reduced considerably in size.
As well as pub meals, full breakfasts are served on Fridays & Saturdays in the adjoining "Pitstop" cafe, a popular haunt for local bikers. (The main pub opens at 1200 on these days)
The large beer garden area is pleasantly situated with a patio area and a small children’s area.
Historic Interest
The pub opened in 1830 was originally called The Deanery but later changed to The Danery after the area of Danesford where it is situated. Buildings to the rear formerly housed a butchers shop and a Brewhouse.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
