Old coaching inn rebuilt in early part of the 19th century with later extensions. It has a wing with motel type accommodation adjacent to a large car park. The bar is in the centre of the open plan layout.There is a pleasant outside drinking area with a spring and lots of flowers in baskets (in the summer). Meals are served every day.
