Tiny pub opened by Sam Smith's in June 2004 and occupying the area which was formerly part of the bar of the Punch Tavern of which Sam Smith's owns the freehold. It was partitioned off when the rest of the Punch Tavern was sold and extended in 1997. The interior has undergone a complete restoration by Sam Smith's and it is magnificent. A modern version of a Victorian Gin Palace. Also has frontage on Fleet Street.
Restoration
A classy reconstruction of a tiny pub by Sam Smith's occupying an area which was part of a bar of the Grade II-listed Punch Tavern. The interior is a magnificent version of a Victorian gin palace with much wood and etched glass and mirrors. Pub snacks but no real ale. Closed at weekends.
