The Crescent Inn on Wild Street is a traditional pub with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It has a friendly local customer base and used by local dog owners who often stop by for a refreshingly cold lager and a cold bowl of water for their four legged companions. Although the interior is joined it retains a number of different sections. The bar starts with the front bar area with lino flooring and curves round to serve the rear saloon area. To the side of this is the games area with a pool table, which is free on week days. The front bar has a separate seating area to the side.

No real ale is served but the pub is hoping to install one pump in the Autumn of 2023.

It is a great place for good conversation, good hospitality and a relaxing drink.
