This former coaching inn, built in 1776, is Grade II listed and an ideal base for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the historic City of York and the Yorkshire Coastline. The cosy bar has traditional timber furnishings. Two regular beers and two rotating guests are offered. Various all-day food menus menus are available (including a Sunday carvery) and functions are catered for together with business facilities. Smokers are catered for under a gazebo at the front of the building. Can open later at weekends depending on demand.
