Pub taken over by celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. Sister pub to the Hand & Flowers (also in Marlow).

For most visitors beer is secondary to food. However, it's unclear whether this is run as pub according to the CAMRA definition. Drinkers are apparently permitted to occupy stools at the bar if not eating a Tom Kerridge "pub food" meal. However, if the establishment is busy and the stools are full then drinkers may have to wait for entry (as is the case for diners).
