Originally a Truman pub that later spent 25 years as a Harvester. Grade II listed in 1973. The pub on this site in 1753 was known as the Ship and Castle.
Historic Interest
Grade II listing:- Early C19. Originally 2 storeys, now 3. Eight windows. Stuccoed. Two bays of 3 windows each on ground and first floor with cornice and parapet over. The second floor with iron balcony is a later addition. Roof not visible. Much modernized.
