A typical, traditional Sam Smith’s pub in the pedestrianised city centre. The pub was substantially rebuilt in the 1960s in the style of the cabs invented by Joseph Aloysius Hansom, and renamed the Hansom Cab (it has now reverted to its original name). Victorian-style panelling, glass (including skylight feature) and lighting give the pub character. Clientele consists of a mixture of locals, shoppers, tourists and students.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
