No longer one of the few real ale outlets in the large suburb of Bridge of Don on the North side of Aberdeen. The pub is part of the Crown Carvery chain, and features a carvery restaurant in addition to the public bar. It sits slightly isolated on the south side of the A90 between Persley and Bridge of Don itself, surrounded by large housing estates on all sides.
