This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
The bar is only for members, but guests of members are always allowed and anyone employed by the University counts as a member. Alumni are asked to email college reception before they visit to sign them in on behalf of the college
St. Cuthbert's Society is one of the colleges within Durham University and has two bars; one at the colleges Bailey Site known as Cuth's Bar and this at the college's Parsons Field site known as Brooks Bar.
Brooks bar has a range of draught cider, lager and bitter and one ale line which serves a permanent cider. Brooks is also home to 'Craft Corner', a rotating range of bottled craft beers from all over the world at unbelievable prices, guests have included 'Meantime London Pale Ale' and 'Flying Dog Easy IPA'. Brooks also serves a small range of hot food including pizzas and chips, and runs a number of events such as the fortnightly pub quiz and acoustic nights.
