Brewhouse and taproom in the centre of Caerphilly town. Beers, listed on a blackboard, are from the adjoining brewhouse plus occasional guest beers from other local breweries and a selection of craft ciders and artisan gins and spirits. The ground floor bar has exposed stonework while wood in various shades adds to the decor. Some old barrels have been used as places to rest your drinks. There is also a pleasant upstairs room with long tables and a large TV screen for watching sport. This room gives an excellent view overlooking the brewing floor. There is a regular quiz night on Thursdays. The location is close to the imposing Caerphilly Castle and local shops, and a near 10 minute uphill walk to/from the transport interchange via White Street.
