The oldest building to continuously trade as a pub in Northwich in a spectacular riverside setting with an impressive garden. Four roomed traditional pub, three of the rooms with oak beams and low ceilings. The building dates back to 1650 and still retains many original features. Situated next door to the Salt Museum whilst boasting the only l-shaped bowling green in the country. In support of Tails Animal Rescue the pub is selling homemade treat biscuits for dogs and raised £1000 for the charity in 2019.
