A small single-roomed selectively lit bar, with pleasant modern styling including a wall-to-wall mirror. There is an unusual suspended gantry above one of the tables. Furnished with an eclectic range of tables, chairs and stools including half-barrels and an upholstered banquette. This friendly pub is a lively place to visit, especially when folk musicians arrive. Along with two real ales usually from smaller Scottish breweries there are hot drinks available. An extensive range of malt whiskies may be sampled in taster 'flights'. Likely to be open till 3am during August.
NOTE: Can be very busy for the Tuesday evening quiz and non-participants may be asked to sit outside.
