This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

A multiple winner of York CAMRA Club of the Year (last in 2023) it welcomes non-members and dispenses cask beers through five handpulls with three rotating guests and often a dark beer is available. The St Patrick’s Beer festival, held in the function room, encourages all to enjoy an extended range of real ales and ciders and raise money for the support of local community sports teams. With sports channels and pub games it’s a popular and vibrant venue which provides the music for the annual village festival.
