The bar of the Surrey Sports park was removed in 2024 and converted into "a versatile, bookable space providing greater breadth of opportunity for onsite events"

Historically the venue offered a place to relax before or after sport with panoramic views of the outdoor pitches. A wide variety of University Sports Clubs used this as their 'clubhouse' and venue for their social meeting. The bar was also very popular with families, especially at weekends. It was pleasantly decorated with pine furniture and sofa. There were 3 banks of TVs showing a range of different sporting events throughout the day, but with a focus on live football.
