Commanding the corner of High Street with Glebeland Street, this sports oriented pub is run by the Craft Union Pub Company. Comfortably furnished throughout with a mainly coffee brown decor, the interior seems to link up three sections with the middle one on a higher level before the games area near the rear exit. Several TVs are strategically placed to deliver the daily sporting events wherever you are sat while some walls have pictures of days past dotted around. Sadly the two handpumps at the rear section of the bar are no longer in use, but while they are there there’s always hope! Weekly activities include a cash bingo (Wednesday), live bands (Friday), while there is a quiz on the last Tuesday of the month.
