Popular recently refurbished family friendly pub with a restaurant and a spacious bar, offering three excellent real ales. The food comes with recommendations, and includes hearty British pub classics, Sunday roasts and breakfasts from 9.30am. Televised sport is shown in the bar area, occasional live music features on Saturday night, and there is a regular quiz night. There is large child friendly garden at the rear which is also the scene for regular barbecues in the summer months.
