This is a good country inn, open plan with a bar in the centre of the pub. There is an open fireplace with comfortable seating and another food bar behind which is a pizza oven with the pub specialises in a range of pizzas that can be found on the menu.
To the left of the bar is another seating area with some leather chairs and sofas and there is another fireplace with a rather splendid ornate and renovated multi fuel burner. If you continue further round to the left there is another seating/dining area which could also be described as a snug. Throughout the pub can be found some interesting items on the walls such as a factory clocking in machine and a previous pub sign.
Ales are from the St Austell and Otter breweries and for the craft beer enthusiast you can purchase Beavertown cans. There is a good wine list and an assortment of gins. The real cider is made locally.
N.B. Sunday dining from 3.00pm through to 9.00pm is restricted to the Pizza menu.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
