A large pub right next door to the market. It gets very busy evenings, especially Fridays. It is also quite close to the bus station and opposite Basildon railway station. 2 real ales are served. Outside seating is close to the road, but it's not a very busy road, most of the time. No children are allowed in the bar at all. There is a raised seating area to the right and a smaller one on the left and the Beehive is wheelchair accessible. Sports events are shown on plasma screens from Sky Sports and 3D also available.
