This Pub is Temporarily Closed

Originally the Maltsters' Arms, this brazenly traditional back-street boozer has been The Apple Tree for the last thirty-something years. Just the one bar, with simple furniture around the edge of the room. Very much a cider house, full of great characters. When summer comes around, there is live music in the garden to one side.

Following retirement of its long-serving licensee, the Apple Tree is currently closed for repair and refurbishment.
