CAMRA Bradford Branch Pub of the Year 2026 - Winner (Outer Bradford)
Underwent a change of management in August 2026. The new manager (who had already been working at the pub for a good while) intends to continue the high standards.
A very warm, friendly welcome is assured in this popular micropub. Formerly a corner shop and located within a residential area that is a five minute walk from Leeds Road (A657). It comprises a small downstairs room which houses the servery and limited seating. Stone-flagged floors are present as is much woodwork creating a clean, comfortable environment. A slightly larger room upstairs provides more seating with tables. There is a small outside seating area by the entrance door. Space can be at a premium at busy times. Four hand-pulls serve a varying range of cask ales, with one usually being a dark beer. These are usually from local and regional independent breweries. Boxed and bottled ciders and various other types of drinks are also offered. Due to being located within a residential area, closing times are required to be rigidly applied.
