The Hammersmith Brewery and its taproom, occupying the former premises of Hoppy Collie Brewery, is situated underneath the Kenta restaurant, the entrance to the taproom being to the side of the restaurant. It's a basement venue with a capacity of about 20 and space for one trestle table outside on the street.
There are currently six beers available on keg as per the beer board. The beers at time of survey were Pale, Amber and a range of hoppy pales with different hops, but the brewer is very much into darker beers so expect stouts and porters to appear.
There is a handpump but currently the brewer is not doing cask. He is taking things slowly but plans to grow his operation at a rate he is happy with.
Note restricted days of opening. Closing time is officially 9.30pm as per the licence but it is hoped this will be extended to 11pm, or possibly later.
