Recently renovated pub in the town centre that looks deceptively small from the outside. Three handpulls currently serve three regular beers, There is a dedicated fridge for craft beers, including some bottle-conditioned from the Anarchy Brew Co range. The pub has a book exchange area for readers and offers free wi-fi for the more technically-inclined. Towards the rear of the pub are two TVs which usually display a news channel, but will also be used to show national events and certain national sporting fixtures. Toilets are located upstairs, but there is a disabled WC level with the bar. There is an enhanced beer garden at the back, which is also a main door leading to a back lane. Live music on Thursday evenings.
