Large Greene King Hungry Horse 1970s built family orientated pub-restaurant with many meal promotions and several t.v. screens. Re-opened after quality refurbishment, November 2014, with the most welcome addition of two extra hand pulls for guest cask ales alongside the regular Greene King range. Holds two quizzes; one music, one entertainment and buskers sessions weekly. Also pool table plus entertainment like colouring-in sheets for children. Note the bar and decking (smoking area) areas are adults only.
