This traditional village pub has twice been local CAMRA Pub of the Year. The same landlord has been here since 2002. Four handpumps dispense one regular and three changing ales, and beer festivals are held over the Easter and August bank holidays, usually featuring local breweries. There are occasional food nights, live music each month, regular bingo and quizzes, and weekly support for darts, crib and dominoes. Outdoor seating is at the front.
