An attractive and traditional village local with a warm welcoming feel and a high standard of decor. It comprises of a main bar area with separate dining rooms off to the left and right, with a large conservatory also used for dining at the rear overlooking the large garden.
Four handpumps dispense the beer which is usually from local regional breweries, with at least one traditional cider usually available.
There are also three highly appointed rooms available should you choose to stay, or if you prefer camping that can also be catered for at the rear of the pub. A walking and cycling group operate from the pub which also holds occasional beer festivals.
As at August 2023, no food is being served due to staff shortages - if that has changed when you visit please let us know!
This Pub serves 3 changing beers (Adnams, Greene King, Woodforde's and others from local micros such as Moon Gazer, Green Jack and Humpty Dumpty) and 1 regular beer.
