Dating back from the 13th century, this old coaching inn lies in a remote area of glorious Exmoor countryside. Ivy-clad beamed pub is so remote it generates its own electricity, and water is from a spring. The Poltimore arms is an atmospheric and welcoming locals' pub, which retains many interesting and original features, including, it is said, a friendly ghost.
