A 1930s roadhouse inn overlooking the northern approach to the village. From the porch the two attractively half glazed doors show that originally there was the Lounge Bar to the left and the Games Bar to the right, but a folding screen between the two is currently kept open to give one large bar room. A substantial wood-burning stove dominates one side of the room which is furnished with an eclectic mix of easy chairs and wooden tables & chairs, while an equally diverse range of objects lines the walls - classic album covers, large clocks and old tobacco tins, etc. There is a large garden and outdoor seating area.
