An attractive stone-built pub on the old road between Preston and Blackburn, near Riley Green basin on the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Popular with diners and drinkers alike. Four distinct rooms including the dining area are served from the long bar while low beamed ceilings, bare walls and traditional decor give the pub a rustic feel. A pleasant beer garden has views of nearby Hoghton Tower.
The guest beers are normally either from the Thwaites microbrewery or from the Carlsberg-Marston's range but sometimes are from further afield.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Often a Thwaites seasonal, Black Sheep or Carlsberg-Marstons) and 2 regular beers.
