The oldest building in Blackley, erected in the 16th century, made into a pub in 1861 and now standing on the Kirklees and Calderdale boundary walk. Less than a 1000 metres from Junction 24 on the M62, it has panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and backs onto the ground of Blackley Cricket Club.
