Re-opened in October 2013 with a change of name. Named after the Olympic triathlon medal winning Brownlee brothers who grew up in Horsforth. The main carpeted seating area is broken up with small walls and niches. There is also a small stone-floored drinking area.
Included for its intact servery structures, and internal doors and glazing – the likely products of alterations by then owners John Smith's brewery which were given approval in 1935 (a time when Horsforth was expanding rapidly with housing). The Thirties bar frontage to the left-hand tap room is of particular note.
