Historic Interest
This was originally the offices of the canal company, and predates the building of Foxton Locks (pre-1814). For many years it operated as the original 'Bridge 61', a popular and unpretentious free house. Closed when the lease expired in about 2002; then reopened after substantial rebuilding, as a joint venture by Scottish & Newcastle Breweries and British Waterways in summer 2005.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
