A local's pub in the middle of a suburban estate, the Welcome Inn is part of the J W Lees estate. The main lounge is large and comfortable.

Sale of cask bitter and cask mild ceased in early June 2015, leaving Ordsall as a real ale desert.

On quieter night the main lounge may be closed and just the pool room open.
