A town centre Wetherspoon pub converted from a furniture store at the beginning of the century, the Wishaw Malt has eight handpumps with guest beers from all over the UK supplementing the three regulars. Around the walls are information panels and photographs of old Wishaw. The pub takes its name from a 19th century distillery and bonded warehouse. Ironically, a church to the rear of the pub once hosted the Wishaw Templar Lodge of Temperance. Alcohol is available from 11am.
