Formerly the Worksop Station buffet, the Mallard is situated in the railway station buildings, with access from the car park. The pub offers a warm welcome as well as four changing real ales, usually a dark beer and a bitter are available, two ciders minimum, a selection of foreign bottled beers, country fruit wines and specialist gins. The cosy main room is not very big but there is a further room available downstairs for special occasions - such as the four beer festivals the pub holds each year. June 2015 saw the announcement of the Mallard winning Nottinghamshire CAMRA Pub of the Year and the pub has received numerous awards from North Notts CAMRA.
