Taken over and refurbished August 2024 by the 1936 Pub co, owners of nearby Red Lion and Vines. Set over three floors of an historic Grade II Georgian former merchants house, built in 1746. It was one of the first buildings to be built on Duke Street and retains many original features such as sash windows fireplaces and solid ships decking wooden floors and is named after the first scheduled passenger ship to New York in 1817.
