Historic Interest

Previously known as the Anchor Hotel in 1898 and it was 'Temperance'. In the twenties the building was used as the Town Hall. In the early 1990’s the site was a Lloyds Bank. Then renamed Bar Vin (Punch Taverns - Spirit Group). Renamed the Anchor Hotel (Punch Taverns - Taylor Walker Pubs) 03/11. After separating from Punch, Spirit have taken over Taylor Walker 2012. Now part of Greene King.
