The manager of the bar at this local flying school is keen on local supply and has installed Ridley's Rite from Bishop Nick Brewery as his sole ale. There is also a range of Bishop Nick bottled beers. There's flying memorabilia in bar and clubhouse area. The training airfield is a small grass strip dominated by single-engine Cessna aircraft, a Mustang III and B17 Meteor IIIs, and trial flying lessons are available. The public are welcome in the bar and it stays open until 11pm if there are customers.
