200 yards from the railway station with bus stops adjacent, this is a popular victorian street corner freehouse now surrounded by a newer housing development. The large bar is busy with locals who are keen on sport as is evident by the pictures and trophies: darts, dominoes, football and pool are played in local leagues. There is a covered and heated area for smokers.
