The pub claims to be the location where the famous London Burker’s lured one of their victims; above the underground tunnels where prisoners were kept before taken to trial in the Magistrates Court; and in the building which held the first ever Terence Higgins Trust meeting. It was re-branded as a golf themed bar in September 2021 where you can play mini- golf on 2 floors whilst drinking keg beers.
