This is a spacious back-street local which is not far from the city centre. Up to three ales may be available and sometimes one real cider dispensed from the bank of four handpumps. Ales from Dartmoor, Sharp's and Summerskills appear regularly. Pool and dart teams play here regularly, while live televised sport provide sporting entertainment for the less energetic, including a very large projection TV screen. A large heated patio area is provided for those who smoke. There is also a free pool table and free juke box available all day, every day.
