Friendly and popular town-centre local close to the main shopping area, recently refurbished with a single-room horseshoe bar. Two changing cask beers are offered. An interest in sport and games is reflected in the impressive array of trophies won by various pub teams and the large-screen TVs for viewing sporting events. It has a surprisingly spacious and well-appointed patio garden at the rear. Children and dogs allowed in the garden area only.
