New build Greene King Hungry Horse family pub on a main route from Sheffield and the M1 into Rotherham, opened in 2015. It is easily accessible by car from either Junction 33 or 34 of the M1 and by bus from Rotherham or Sheffield. it is built on part of what was once a steelworks and is close to the Magna Science Adventure Centre, Bessemer Business Park and the recently created Centenary Riverside Nature Reserve. Breakfast is served from 10 to 12 everyday and the menu covers bar snacks and sandwiches to full meals at other times. No longer selling real ale.
